The brand’s story began in the early 1980s in the United States, when Diego and Andrea Della Valle discovered the work jackets worn by firefighters in Maine. They took notice of the Fay brand, which specialized in technical clothing for fishermen and firefighters, and introduced it to Italy with a clear vision: to adapt workwear for urban use. The work jacket thus became an excellent city garment, quickly becoming a cult item in international capitals: the Fay 4-Hook. In 2019, the journey into the brand’s Archives began, uncovering the meeting between the authentic spirit of American workwear and an innate Italian sense of style: Fay Archive draws on Fay’s DNA, celebrating its origins while expanding them to meet the demands of all-encompassing adventure, from the city to the great outdoors.
